Interesting facts about me

I really love Halloween. I celebrate it from Oct. 31st to Nov. 7th. And think about it all year round. Our Halloweens are always special and each day there is a special 'event'. It's kinda like a mixture of holidays with a halloween twist...minus the scary.

    Hi!
=) Glad I made you smile! And I agree, it is a little bugging that a lot of people try to point that children are seen as less defenceless than older people..when everyone gets scared :P.
Thanks for taking the time to comment anyway =D I love recieving comments and things to read when I get online xD.

Sorry it's taken me a while, I've been so absorbed in this story I'm writing. I've been studying how to build tents, catching Ebilias for halloween (it's a type of egg), studying individual Berber tribes, practicing with an awl to spin thread, listening to desert sounds, just all sorts of crazy things. I am actually thinking about the Amazigh right now, which is what the Berbers taught themselves, and I am thinking, the greeks, egyptians, and other cultures called the Amazons...Amazons. No one knows what the word Amazon means, same goes for Amazigh they dont know what it means so they just randomly say it means free people. But etymology wise it has no known roots. So I think the Amazon and Amazigh were some how connected because the Amazigh were known for their female warriors, and in one tribe the Tuareg the men have to wear a veil and it's shameful for them to take it off. The women are treated like queens (lol).

You're right it's always nice to come on and find a comment nestled in there esp. when there's something interesting to read. I think the above is interesting, but then researching and writing stories are my passion ^_^.

I also saw that you were asking MG some questions about the ASG. You found the best person to talk to about it I swear!
There's a thread about it HERE and it's a good place to ask questions and see what people have asked.

Hope to get to talk to you, you seem pretty awesome!

Bye and good stuff only from,

I will do that! I looked at that link and am really impressed at all those awesome pictures! So many are so beautiful!

You know I actually just came from a MUD (which is hardcore RP based). Basically it's like a little universe that's built of text, and in one specific MUD there are cities, towns, and even wars. But everything happens in real time, it might be really interesting to see a war done in a MUD/MUSH format. But I am not very good at war in general and would probably be held responsible for entire losses of battles. Aha! I am probably the Joxer of battles.

Dude i totally get that idea of evil. Its deliciously complex and fits her so perfectly. Xena is probably my second fav flawed character. There is one that make sme appreciate female heroines in a new light. Her name is Ellie she is from my fav series of book Tomorrow when the war began. Its an australian series but ellie is the second most flawed charcter i have ever encountered. She is just awesome.

I'm not a writer so i'd love to read some of your work if you feel inclined. Nothing can beat a multi-dimensional character

Hey! Can you tell me more about your Ellie? From the book you're talking about? What is she like? What makes her flawed? What is the book called?

I wrote a lot of novels and currently editing several(one at a time), one of them is being rewritten, and I'm working on writing another book but I keep jumping around. I think they're good only because the people who read them tell me they are and say they can see them published and at the same time. I have been debating it. I don't know how I feel about giving pieces of my heart for society to judge, criticize, and compete against/rank, when in a few years from now very few books will have survived, only pieces of them. Even with advanced technology I have this crazy idea that even that is unstable. And at the same time I'm really afraid that the small amount of people who have looked at it will hate it.

So I would loveee to share some of my writing with people who have asked, but I am horrified about what people will think. (lol)

the ASG is the Army Stomping grounds. Its a place where semi battles take place and stuff.

I'm all about strong female characters as well. I like flawed characters who are aware of their flaws and yet have the ability to use them to their advantage. I dont like self indulgent charcters. So Xena is really important to me. Then i've recently started falling in love with Livia as well. The two together have this awesome potential adversary thing going on. If they kept her around as Livia longer it so could have descended into a long term battle. And now i'm rambling.

I loveee rambles! : D! I really love Flawed characters too, and that's another reason why I love Xena because before Xena I never saw a hero that had 'flaws' that openly admitted to them, that openly had those issues. And I still see it rarely used, they're all superhuman and perfect, and just so...I was watching the xena trilogy today (Hercules the half god), and for the first time I realized why some people didn't want Xena to be half god. They already 'had' a half god, and that was Hercules, it had been done before, but Xena was purely original and to make her half god would have probably made her more like Hercules, and I think that's the last thing a lot of people wanted (?).

After Xena (I was very young) I began to write characters who were multidimensional and had all sorts of aspects to them. I love how Evil isn't just 'Evil' and that you can question 'evil' with Xena, and that not everyone who does bad things have to always be on the 'opposite' side. And that even sometimes people who are 'good' or fight in the name of good can be just as crazy (like Najara (sp)) ahaha (she was totallyyyy crazy). When I first saw it I thought...ahaha she reminds me of Joan of Arc, and then when I listened to the commentry (or something like that) they made the reference and I laughed hard because it's nice to go hey....and then be right lol.

I wonder if the reason why they didn't keep Livia and Xena fighting because of the Callisto--Xena comparison and if the reason they didn't was to prevent Callisto and her fighting in another life, and perhaps to give Callisto the second chance she wanted?

Ahh, there still aren't enough flawed characters today. I think the only way I can get flawed these days is through reading dark fantasy, and good ones for me are sooo hard to come by >.>!
